Non fink installation of ccp4-6.1.2 on Mac OSX

If you dont want to install the latest ccp4-6.1.2 using fink and William G Scots library , follow these steps to install ccp4-6.1.2 on OSX ( Leopard 32 bit)

Download the ccp4 dmg

Download the Tcl-Tk dmg from the ccp4 . Use the version that works with both ccp4i and the "new" imosflm gui. This version provides the bltsh and bltwish executables and installs them to the ccp4-6.1.2/bin directory directly

Install both dmg files

Edit the /usr/local/bin/ccp4-6.1.2/bin/ccp4-setup.sh ( if you are using the bash shell )file to change the line 149

export CCP4I_TCLTK=/usr/local/bin/

to

export CCP4I_TCLTK=/usr/local/ccp4-6.1.2/bin

Source the /usr/local/bin/ccp4.setup-sh (if you are using the bash shell) from your .bashrc or .bash_profile and you should be all set.
